YFLG Contribution to Advancing Women’s Economic Empowerment Through the World Bank Women, Business and the Law 2027 Initiative

Kuwait City, Kuwait — Al-Yaqout & Al-Fouzan Legal Group was selected as a legal expert contributor to the World Bank Women, Business and the Law 2027 initiative, reinforcing its commitment to supporting women’s economic empowerment and advancing workplace equality through legal expertise.

As part of the initiative, YFLG contributed to the review and assessment of legal and regulatory frameworks impacting women’s participation in the workforce and broader economic environment in Kuwait. The contribution covered several key areas, including employment rights and protections, workplace equality and non-discrimination, maternity and related benefits, and legal barriers or facilitators affecting women’s participation in the workforce.

In recognition of this contribution, the World Bank issued a Certificate of Appreciation for legal review and validation of the World Bank data in acknowledgment of our valuable role in supporting the Women, Business and the Law 2027 report.

Through this collaboration, YFLG supported ongoing efforts to strengthen legal awareness and promote policies that encourage equal economic opportunities for women. The participation reflects the group’s commitment to contributing to impactful global initiatives aligned with sustainable development and inclusive growth.
