Kuwait City, Kuwait — Mrs. Fadwa Darwish, the Secretary-General of the Union, participated as a keynote speaker in a panel discussion at the first Diversity and Inclusion Summit themed “Inclusion Beyond… Initiatives towards Sustainability,” held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development and organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Kuwait on January 31, 2024, at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

During her participation, Mrs. Fadwa Darwish emphasized the importance of enhancing a culture of inclusion within various institutions. She presented a series of measures that enable leaders to promote a culture of inclusivity and demonstrate their commitment to diversity and inclusion within their organizations, stressing that fostering inclusivity and diversity is an ongoing process that requires the commitment and participation of everyone within the institution.
