Eight Kuwaitis among Forbes Middle East’s 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen 2023

Kuwait City, Kuwait — Eight Kuwaiti women made it into Forbes Middle East’s list of the 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen 2023, which was announced on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

The list features businesswomen from 27 different sectors and 27 nationalities. The UAE and Egypt scored the most entries at 15 and 12, respectively, followed by 11 from Saudi Arabia, eight from Kuwait, and six each from Lebanon, Qatar and Oman.

The Kuwaiti women on the list include:

  4. Henadi Al-Saleh – Agility Chairperson – 20th
  5. Eaman Al-Roudhan – Zain Kuwait CEO – 22th
  6. Jehad Al-Humaidi – Ahli United Bank of Kuwait CEO – 34th
  7. Nadia Al-Hajji – Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) CEO – 35th
  8. Nadia Akil – United Projects for Aviation Services Company (UPAC) CEO & Vice Chair – 88th
