EmpowHer is a values-driven initiative designed to support the personal growth, leadership development, and social awareness of young women. Founded in Kuwait, the program creates structured opportunities for girls to explore identity, confidence, wellbeing, and service in ways that are age-appropriate, culturally grounded, and deeply human.

EmpowHer lives its vision through action, dialogue, and community. In our first year, we brought together girls from different grades to collaborate on entrepreneurship projects — proving that teamwork doesn’t require friendship, only respect and shared purpose. Every voice mattered. During Ramadan, we led a wellness drive and partnered with a local NGO supporting minority women in Kuwait, offering empathy and solidarity across experiences.
We launched the Leap to Confidence event — creating brave spaces to educate, inspire, and begin removing taboos that hold girls back from speaking openly and leading proudly.
Through these moments, EmpowHer reminds every member that confidence and compassion can change culture — one act, one conversation, one sisterhood at a time.

Every EmpowHer Chapter is built on teamwork. Each role is a chance to lead with kindness, take initiative, and ensure that every voice is valued.
While each chapter may adapt slightly to fit its school context, the structure below keeps every team aligned with the EmpowHer mission and vision.
🌸 Chapter Advisor (Staff Role): Guides and supports the chapter while empowering students to lead. Ensures alignment with EmpowHer’s mission, values, and cultural context. Oversees meetings, provides mentorship, and maintains a safe, inclusive space.
👑 President (Student Leader): Leads with empathy and direction. Oversees all chapter activities, sets meeting agendas, supports all officers, and represents the chapter within the school and EmpowHer network.
💫 Vice President (Student Leader): Assists the President, coordinates committees, and ensures all voices are heard. Steps in when the President is unavailable and helps maintain harmony within the team.
💰 Treasurer (Student Leader): Manages the chapter’s budget and financial records. Tracks event expenses, fundraising, and donations. Ensures funds are used ethically and transparently to support EmpowHer initiatives.
🕊 Secretary (Student Leader): Keeps meeting notes, attendance, and records of reflections. Organizes communication between members, advisors, and the school. Helps track progress and prepare chapter reports.
📣 Public Relations Officer – 1 per grade (Student Representative): Serves as the communication bridge between EmpowHer leadership and grade-level members. Promotes events, gathers feedback, and encourages participation in activities. Each grade has one PR representative.
🌟 Grade Level Head Girls (Student Leaders): Represent their grade in the EmpowHer Leadership Council. Lead initiatives, mentor younger members, and model the club’s values of kindness, courage, and dignity.
💗 Deputy Head Girls (Student Leaders): Support the Head Girls in coordinating EmpowHer activities across grades. Step in for leadership duties when needed and help ensure all members feel included and valued.

Respect: We treat all members with kindness and courtesy — in words, actions, and digital spaces. We listen to understand, not to judge, and we celebrate differences in background, opinion, and belief. Respect is the foundation of our sisterhood.
Confidentiality: We honor the trust of our members by keeping personal stories, reflections, and discussions private. What is shared in EmpowHer stays within EmpowHer, unless permission is given to share. This creates safety for honest conversation and growth.
Inclusion: Every girl has a voice and a place in EmpowHer — regardless of grade, background, or personality. We lift each other up, especially when we are different. Our sisterhood grows stronger through empathy and openness.
Accountability: We hold ourselves and one another to our shared values. If mistakes happen, we approach them with honesty and care, not judgment. We learn, reflect, and make things right — together.
Service & Action: Each chapter takes part in community service or social awareness projects each term. Through our actions, we turn empathy into impact and kindness into leadership. We serve with intention, humility, and purpose.
Commitment & Meetings: EmpowHer meets at least twice per month to connect, plan, and reflect. Members are expected to attend regularly, contribute actively, and support chapter events. Attendance and participation reflect respect for the sisterhood and the opportunities it provides.
