URC hosted a workshop on 19 February 2025 titled “50 Ways to Fight Bias”, led by Melody Mitchell, to help staff recognize and address unconscious bias. The session reinforced URC’s commitment to inclusivity and left participants with practical tools to foster fairness in daily life.

Ahead of International Women’s Day, URC hosted a workshop titled “50 Ways to Fight Bias” for all staff on 19 February 2025. This interactive session was facilitated by Melody Mitchell, founder of Lean In Network – Kuwait. The interactive workshop focused on helping participants identify unconscious bias, understand its impact, and explore practical, research-based strategies to challenge it. Attendees engaged in open discussions and real-life examples, gaining valuable tools to counter bias in both personal and professional settings.

By extending this training to all employees, URC reaffirmed its dedication to creating a more inclusive workplace and advancing women’s empowerment beyond symbolic gestures. Participants left feeling empowered with actionable steps to identify and challenge bias, fostering more inclusive environments in both their personal and professional lives.
