Adlouni & Partners Law Firm’s Legislation Meeting for Women’s Economic Empowerment
On 14th November 2023, a meeting was held to discuss legislation for women’s economic empowerment with the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Authority for manpower and the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
The discussion focused on the labor law and the most important proposed amendments that would enhance the economic participation of women in the state of Kuwait.
Training Workshop on the Use of Indicator Simulation for Policy Makers
On 23-26th October 2023, a workshop was organized by the general secretariat in cooperation with ESCWA on the indicator simulation tool project for policymakers in the Arab region. The indicator simulation tool for policy makers allows its users to identify strengths and weaknesses at the national level in terms of achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment. It also enables its users to monitor the potential outcome of gender equality policies and support national reform efforts.
Introductory Workshop on the Annual Development Plan (2024/2025)
On 15-16th May 2023, a workshop was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development as a member of the Women and Business Committee of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development.
This workshop comes as a continuation of a very important process, which is the preparation of the annual operational plan of the development plan.
Participation in Conference on the Basics of Women’s Empowerment and the Role of Business in Accelerating Equality in the Workplace
On 29th November 2021, Adlouni & Partners Law Firm participated in a conference with WEPS. The conference addressed the basics of women’s empowerment and the role of business in accelerating equality in the workplace.
Participation in a Workshop to Raise International Indicators of Women’s Economic Empowerment in the State of Kuwait
On 8-11st November 2021, Adlouni & Partners Law Firm participated in a workshop with the World Bank, a number of government agencies, the private sector and civil society as a member of the women and Business Committee at the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development. The workshop discussed legislative reforms and ways to raise international indicators of women’s economic empowerment in the state of Kuwait.

6th April 2021, the general secretariat of the Supreme Council for planning and Development, Dr. Khalid Mahdi and the resident representative of the World Bank in the state of Kuwait Ghassan Al-Khoja honored the chairman of the investment laws committee A. Lina Adlouni “for contribution to the efforts of women’s economic empowerment”
