The Union of Investment Companies, in collaboration with ABCK-AmCham Kuwait, held a seminar entitled “S in ESG: Inclusion for Sustainable Growth”, on March 8, 2023, at UIC’s headquarters, coincided with International Women’s Day. Representing ABCK-AmCham Kuwait, Ms. Paula De La Roche – the Executive Director, and Ms. Mercedes Vazquez – Chair of AmCham Kuwait’s Banking and Finance Focus Group.
Ms. Fadwa Adel Darwish – Secretary General of UIC, emphasized the importance of women’s involvement in economic sectors worldwide for a more sustainable future during her opening speech at the seminar.
The event focused on important topics such as gender equality, diversity and inclusion, and the role of women in driving economic growth.
