On 24th October 2022, Adlouni & Partners Law Firm participated in a meeting organized by the women and business committee with a delegation of Bahraini women lawyers from the Bahrain Bar Association in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting aimed to highlight the leadership role of women to work towards achieving the fifth Sustainable Development Goal, and a platform of Kuwaiti women leaders for change was launched.

On 23-24th May 2022, Adlouni & Partners Law Firm participated in a conference held at the headquarters of the Arab Institute for planning and development in cooperation with the International Organization for women empowerment and capacity building. The conference aimed to end all forms of discrimination against all women, promote gender equality at all levels and eliminate all forms of violence and harmful practices, including trafficking, sexual exploitation, harassment, early and forced marriage and early employment of girls.

On 11st July 2021, Adlouni & Partners Law Firm participated in a seminar organized by the Women’s Cultural and Social Association in the presence of the World Bank and women’s rights activists. The seminar addressed the importance of women’s empowerment in all political, economic, social and cultural fields, attention to holding training courses and increasing the presence of women in decision-making centers and in parliamentary councils as well as at the Cabinet level, stressing that Kuwaiti women have the competence and skill that qualifies them for this.

On 23rd June 2021, Adlouni & Partners Law Firm participated in a Sub-Regional GCC Webinar on Intellectual Property (IP) AND Women Entrepreneurship and the mainstream in SDGs goals no. 5 gender equality and goal no. 9 industry, innovation and infrastructure. The seminar dealt with several topics, including the role of WIPO in promoting gender equality in the field of intellectual property in the Arab region, results and statistics: Oman on increasing the role of women in innovation and entrepreneurship, the experience of the WIPO program, and a platform for businesswomen and entrepreneurs – the women’s Empowerment Committee of the French business group French and Emirati women were also discussed.
