The WE SUCCEED Program is dedicated to developing the next generation of female leaders within Zain, working towards the groupwide 70:30 target where the company aims to have 30% of its leadership pool being women, equipping them with essential leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
This program supports women at various career levels, helping them navigate corporate challenges, build confidence, and take on leadership roles. Through workshops, coaching, and exposure to senior leadership, WE SUCCEED fosters a culture of empowerment and advancement for women in the workplace. It plays a key role in Zain’s commitment to gender equity by ensuring that female employees are recognized, supported, and given the tools they need to succeed and lead within the organization.
The program is built on years of research into “adaptability”, enabling self-awareness, especially of people’s default mindsets under stress. Moreover, it equipped the participants with tools to deepen relationships, including those that they experience as “difficult,” and encouraged them to create psychologically safe, empowered teams.
Commencing with 360-degree profiling of participating middle managers, the WE SUCCEED program extended over the course of 8 months with workshops, fieldwork assignments, local meetings among managers from the same operation, and cross-operational discussions, as well as coaching for the top performing members in the program.
